Instructions Regarding Appointments

Denton and Fort Worth Day-Time Appointments

Pet drop-off is between 8am-9am
Pet pick-up is between 3pm-4pm
The TCAP office closes promptly at 4pm. Pets must be picked up the same day on which surgery is performed.
NOTE: If your cat is being DECLAWED, pick-up is between 1pm-4pm the NEXT day.
Please withhold food from your pet starting at 10pm the night before surgery
Pets can have water up until the time of their appointment
Cats must be brought in separate pet carriers
Dogs must be brought in on a leash or in a carrier
TCAP accepts cash or check only as forms of payment; NO credit/debit cards
Payment is taken at the time that your pet is dropped off
If your pet has had his/her rabies vaccination, please bring the paperwork (not the tag) with you
If your pet has NOT had a rabies vaccination, one can be given at the time of surgery for $5
If a female pet is in heat at the time of surgery, there will be an extra $10 fee assessed; if she is pregnant, an extra $20 fee will apply
If a male pet has only one testicle descended, there will be an extra $20 fee assessed
A $20 late fee will be assessed for anyone who is late dropping off or picking up a pet
